Yard/Garage Sales For Missions!
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.” – Acts 4:32-37 (NIV84)
This passage illustrates some amazing things about the “heart and mind” of the disciples in the first century church. This spirit of being “one in heart and mind” and thus willing to sell “lands or houses” from “time to time” was very profound and had an amazing impact in their generation. This same “heart” to sacrifice for the “needy persons among” us that are currently on – or will be on – the mission field, is just a profound and just as necessary in order for us to have impact in our generation.
It is our pleasure to give our brothers and sisters the opportunity to “sell something” this week-end at our Missions Garage Sales!

As well as a couple being personally hosted around the Phoenix area by families in the church. (Like at the Ciaramella’s, 2245 W. Naranja Ave, Mesa AZ)
Prayerfully, we will see you there, either to “sell something“, make a donation, or pick up that special something you need! The proceeds from these garage sales will go to support several church plantings that have happened this year and that are planned later this year.
This year new churches have been planted in Houston Texas, Gainesville Florida, Santa Barbara California and in Sydney Australia! Additional foreign mission teams are being sent to Toronto Canada, Chennai India, and Moscow Russia along with another US church planting, Dallas-Ft. Worth Texas!
