The Plan For World Evangelism For The SoldOut Movement

The Phoenix International Christian Church is taking donations for the support of churches and church plantings worldwide (aka “Special Mission” contributions). Our church is a member of the Sold-Out Movement of churches. We are grateful this year to “excel in this grace of giving” (2 Corinthians 8:7) by sacrificing financially as well as with our time for various Special Missions fundraising events! We will be hosting “Special Missions” car-washes, garage-sales, bake sales, candy & cupcake sales and more! We will also be calling on the generosity of our fellow Phoenicians while “Tagging.” All this in an effort to support the “Crown Of Thorns Project!” The “Crown of Thorns Project” is a prayerful plan to plant churches involving the collaboration of over 40 different congregations all over the globe!

Special Missions Supports Church Plantings!

This year’s Special Missions contributions will support recent church plantings as well as future plantings scheduled for this year! The church has just been planted in Bogota Columbia (April 2016) as part of the finale of the “Latin American Missions Conference.” Seattle Washington is scheduled for April 2016, Lagos Nigeria in May 2016, Dubai UAE in July 2016, Tampa Florida in September 2016, Kinshasa DRC in October 2016, and Bangalore India in November 2016! Some “Special Missions” contributions will also support recent church plantings in the Philippines, Ivory Coast, Haiti, and Sydney Australia.

Special Missions Impacts Communities

These new churches offer great services and support to the community they are planted in. Each member of the church also serves as a MERCYworldwide ambassador (see mercyww.org)). MERCYworldwide has numerous projects for the poor and needy globally and has a vibrant partnership with every church in the Sold-Out Movement. Each new church through this partnership is increasingly able serve the poor. New congregations provide strong moral and community support through marriage and family counseling, teen/youth ministries, exciting programs for single adults, as well as excellent leadership training. Through God’s plan of making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey character is built, integrity is deepened, and purpose is clarified.

Of course, all of these services would be meaningless if it were not for the salvation of souls and the reconciliation of men and women to God. This is the reason why the LORD Jesus Christ came – “to seek and save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10).

It is in the spirit of Matthew 28:19-20 that we offer this sacrifice & sincerely request your support:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
