Sunday Morning Zoom Service
Come join us for our Sunday Morning Zoom Service! We’ll have a powerful time of family, fellowship, and worship! Today’s sermon is entitled “Making A Fruitcake” and is all about God’s recipe for making a disciple of Jesus! Fruitcake sometimes gets a bad name, but like anything, we bake or cook if we follow a great recipe there will be a great result!
Consider the concept of baking a cake. Firstly, you have a list of ingredients that are necessary to make a cake. For example, you’ll need things like flour, water, eggs, baking soda, sugar, and some kind of frosting. Obviously, without these essentials, you are not going to have an actual “cake.” Secondly, you’ll need to handle the ingredients carefully and according to the process and order outlined in the recipe. Can you imagine adding eggs after you’ve mixed and baked the rest of the ingredients!? What if you mixed the frosting in the batter instead of the flour and tried to bake that in the oven!? What a mess!Sunday Morning – Jesus’ Kitchen
Sadly, we often do not consult the ultimate maker (and baker) when it comes to his recipe for discipleship! This Sunday morning let’s take a close look at what it means to Jesus to be His disciple! Of course, that means looking into the Word of God and learning the way he’d make the fruit “cake!”
Our Sunday Morning Zoom Service may be held over zoom, but we will be meeting by “Bible Talk” in various homes throughout the valley.
